When you buy your Windows 10 operating system, it provides a number of built-in tools that let you play your music from a USB thumb drive, play it offline, and even stream your music to a PC.
But the latest version of Windows 10 allows you to customize your PC to play, record, and share your music files using your own software.
If you want to learn how to install and use your own Windows 10 music software on your PC, we’ve put together a handy step-by-step guide that will teach you how to turn that powerful Windows 10 technology on its head, and let you do it all on your own.
Open the Settings app, click More, then click Music.
Under the “Software & Services” section, click the “Install software and services” tab.
Under “Windows Media Player,” click the Music tab.
Under Music, click Add New… 4.
In the dialog box that appears, select your music library from the list of available music software and playlists.
Your music library will be added to your Windows Music library, and will appear as a collection of music files in your Windows Media player.
Under Browse, click a file and click Add.
Select your audio file and playback settings.
Click the Play button to begin playing your audio files.
Select a track from your music collection and click Play.
Once the track has been selected, you can play the track from that track in your music player, and adjust the volume, pan, and other settings as desired.
When finished, your Windows music library should appear in your Library tab in the left-hand menu of the Windows Music player.
