“It’s just a dream that I’ve always had,” Dainias Zubrus said of his dream of playing in the NHL.

Zubrus has spent the past week and a half at home in his hometown of Detroit as he recovers from a torn meniscus in his right knee.
It has kept him from practicing with the team and limited him to just two preseason games, when he was limited to one.
Zubrus played just five minutes of ice time Monday against Ottawa.
“Right now, I’m just doing my rehab,” he said.
