In a previous article we mentioned that iTunes is getting a bunch of updates this fall.
Today, we’re going to go over how you can stream music and audio from the web to your iPhone or iPad.
If you’ve used iTunes before, you’ve probably noticed that there’s a new “Stream” button in the menu bar.
Click it to go to your iTunes Music Library, or click it to switch to the SoundCloud Music Library.
If you haven’t, here’s what to do:On your iPad, go to Settings > General > Sound & Video > Playback > Turn off Sound & Audio to stream to your device.
On your iPhone, go on Settings > Preferences > Audio & Video.
On the Audio & Music tab, check “Turn off Sound and Audio to play on my device.”
On your iPhone 5S, go back to your settings menu and select “Sound & Video.”
Then go back into your preferences.
On “Playback & Sound,” check “Do not enable any audio or video streams to my device while streaming.”
On the next screen, check the box next to “Do Not enable any sound or video broadcasts to my iOS device while playing music or audio.”
You’re all set!
Now, all you have to do is to check the “Use Bluetooth on my iOS Device” box and follow the onscreen instructions.
